Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Promise | Part 2 (did anyone else think)

This comic is canon, correct?  Overall the book is going pretty well.  All of the characters sound exactly as they should, albeit Zuko’s arc is fairly annoying to me.  I don’t like how quickly he backpedaled from book 3.  I know he has daddy issues, but it seemed that his conclusion in the Show allowed him to finally move on and realize that Ozai was one crazy mofo.

But after reading this volume I have theories.  They are probably super obvious, but I like to imagine they are unique!

(spoilers following)

So with Mai breaking up with Zuko, and Suki being like HEY I CARE ABOUT YOU ;) it got me a thinkin.  What if Sokka and SUki end it so she can do the hoopla with Zukes, and then Sokka and Toph ultimately end up together, as there was always hints of this happening anyways. Because the creators are being a bit coy about who Lin’s dad is, which may be because it is an important character from the first show. AKA Sokka the motivational bender.

Daredevil: I love You

I have a lot of comic books that I absolutely adore.  They are always on top of my stack for that week; I can barely contain my excitement.  Then there are the books I buy that I don’t swoon over, but I still read. The stories themselves never interest me too much, but for some reason, I am so invested in the characters, I never miss an issue.  Books like Adjectiveless X-men, Astonishing, and recently Avengers VS X-men come to mind.

Then there is a third, strange category of books I buy.  These are the books that are at the bottom of my stack.  They come so low on my priority list that I sometimes even forget them entirely and it isn’t until I have a back log of 5 or so issues that I bother reading them.  And then once I do get around to reading them, they are SO GOOD and genuinely enjoyable that I am completely baffled as to why I didn’t read them in the first place.

This current volume of Daredevil is the prime example of that last category.

I just read the last 4 issues and I am still excited by what is going on.  The Foggy/Murdock college days backstory issue was wonderful.  The continual twists and turns never get annoying.  Who is the new Black Spectre? What is Matt hiding?  When will he finally bone the D.A.?  The book continually asks new questions, while taking DD to new places.

While, the Omega Drive crossover felt a bit unnecessary, I am in love with this book and I don’t want it to stop.

me3's multiplayer affects your galactic readiness level. the more you play, the more points essentially you gain for the fight against the reapers. plus if you play enough, you get a war asset. Now that that's out of the way, whats your gamertag~~

So I really should be playing lots of mp before I finish the ME3 story…

ALSO ATTENTION EVERYONE: my gamertag is greyeyesmcgee

Once you start playing multiplayer you won’t ever come back. Oh if you have a PS3 send me your tag!

I do have a PS3 but I am playing on our Xbox because that is where my two previous saves were, and I want my Shepard to be as strong and sexy with the smallest amount of work required as possible.

Should I be playing multiplayer while I play the campaign?  Do they interlock in some way?

I have this terrible time playing games when they involve a lot of choices, because I am incredibly OCD about completionism and I don’t like when I can’t ‘do everything’.  I am still stuck in the Donkey Kong Country, get every banana mindset.

Mass Effect 3

Only two months late, I am finally jumping on the bandwagon and finishing this trilogy.

Cody got it for me on my birthday in April, but with school and life and such I was just too busy to get to it.  But now I) have a Sunday off and Cody is out of town.  I can play all day.  I can play forever.

No one can stop me.
