Workout worked out

So I finally got my scheduling right to allow me to start working out with my coworker.  Aaaaaand he kicked my ass tonight.  He asked me, “you haven’t worked out for a couple years, right?” and I responded, “or ever?” Because my own and off again, run a few miles three times a year shenanigans don’t really qualify as working out.

We only did free weights, and we did them in the big scary room at my school’s rec center, where everyone was so incredibly buff that I know they all just constantly judged me and my plops.  Where do people who aren’t in shape work out because everyone in this 5 level complex were very far out of my range of body.

I know that everyone has to start somewhere, but the whole thing is very frustrating.  I just feel like I will never catch up, which makes me want to not even start and blah blah blah.  To top it off, I know my body will me immobile tomorrow, and I have to work open to close again.

So in conclusion, this post was supposed to show how excited I am to have someone training me, but quickly fell off that road and into the well of misery and self doubt…..
